Haup2it Web Design is owned and operated by Shirley Hauptman, a local resident of Poplar Bay on Pigeon Lake, Alberta, Canada. Shirley has been coming to Pigeon Lake for 47 years and she and her husband John sold their home in St Albert & moved to Pigeon Lake in 2005.

Shirley has been creating websites for over 7 years now and in the last 3 years she has been specifically creating & managing sites for local small to medium sized businesses, catering especially to the members of the Pigeon Lake Regional Chamber Of Commerce.

Shirley develops & maintains many local area sites and she is a Webmaster for a local hosting service called Townlife, a powerful traffic generating hosting service. After seeing the results of the increased traffic and using the powerful tools and simple to use self admin system for the Village At Pigeon Lake and The Village Creek Country Inn, she decided to make Townlife the preferred hosting service for her business and website, Haup2it Web Design. Shirley now has all of her customers on the TownLife Hosting System, all enjoying the many benefits Townlife has to offer.

Shirley is currently the Marketing Coordinator for the Village At Pigeon Lake and she is the second Vice President of the Pigeon Lake Regional Chamber Of Commerce. Shirley is also the webmaster for Pigeon Lake.com, owned and operated by the Chamber.

Her passion for creating is also shown in the hand made crafts she makes for Candles & Candies. Clean burning soy candles, fun bath products, wax dipped teddy bear air fresheners and gift baskets provide unique corporate and personal gifts. Her products are displayed on the Candles & Candies website and at the local gift shows. A unique "By Invitation Only" open house event takes place each year to kick off the Christmas Gift Giving Season.

Shirley is happily married with 2 awesome daughters & son in laws and the light of her life...6 gorgeous grandchildren!
